A mobile phone insurance scam in Swansea affecting hundreds in Obagi Skin Care Discount UK is probed by trading standards.

Hotel rooms can be inspiration for bedroom makeover Ideas. A few months ago, I stayed at a really nice hotel and took notice of how the room was decorated. I really liked the paint choice, comforter, lighting and how the room was arranged. I went home to my bedroom and felt that it looked a little boring. I decided that my bedroom needed a makeover but an inexpensive makeover. I went to the internet and tried to find ways to give my bedroom a makeover without spending a lot of money. I want to share three simple tips that made me believe it was possible to decorate on a budget.

1. Try some new Bedding

The key is to buy the right colors when using bedroom makeover ideas. You can buy an inexpensive comforter or bedspread from Wal-Mart or an outlet store. Also, I would buy a new sheet set and a couple of pillows. The comforter, sheets, and pillows should match the theme of the bedroom. This simple little change made a big difference in my bedroom.

2. Use a Decorative Rod

I was using a plain white rod with some curtains that had a valance. I went to Big Lots and bought a decorative rod for $7.00 and just hung up some panels. Changing the rod made the room look better because the regular white rod made the room look out dated.

3. Add a Rug

I didn’t have a rug in my bedroom and now I really like the look of the rug after adding it to the room. The rug I bought matches my curtains and bedding. Large rugs can be expensive but look for sales or try an outlet store. I think adding a rug to the room was one of the best bedroom makeover ideas that completed my room. A nice rug will add color and depend on decorating style give a more contemporary look to the room.

People don’t realize how easy it is to decorate or give your bedroom a makeover with the right resources. Also, it really doesn’t take a lot of money to make a few changes to your bedroom.

If you looking for a way to give your bedroom a makeover or just need some decorating tips then do what I did and Visit BudgetHomeDecoratingIdeas.com, for more information on Budget Home Decorating Ideas.

Goce has been described as the most beautiful satellite ever built. Now, after three years’ delay, its opportunity to launch has finally arrived.

Every year it seems to be the same 10 top resolutions. Why? Because they are just so hard to keep! The only two resolutions listed below that I was able to keep were the quit smoking and get more exercise. I hope that you have better luck than I did. My list includes many of the items listed below, but this article is not about Richard’s New Years Resolutions, but the top 10 Resolutions. Here is the list:

1. Get Out of Debt

This is going to be a hard one to keep, with the economy going the way it is going. People are using their credit cards for basic purchases, like gas, food, etc. With the fear of losing their jobs or even their homes. This will be the number one fear of many Americans.

2. Stop smoking

This one should be fairly easy to keep. With governments taxing customers, and the legislation that makes smokers feel so uncomfortable, it should be the one anybody can keep.

3. Get Fit

This is an excellent habit to get into. Once you start it, you will want to continue until you can not.

4. Lose Weight

It is amazing how many overweight people there are in America. I was a physically fit person until I moved to the North East. Than I ballooned up to 286 lbs and had high blood pressure. It has been a long battle, but the weight is coming down.

5. Enjoy Life More

The key here is to find something you love, and do it until you are an expert. You can than teach other people what to do and hopefully start a business doing what you love. With a good grounding in marketing you can always find customers.

6. Quit Drinking

If drinking is a problem for you than you should seek medical advice and attention. Alcholol is an addictive drug, and you will need some serious attention.

7. Get Organized

With the help of a PDA (many cell phones now have these), getting organized is so much simpler. In the old days we had to use index cards and brick tablets. These PDAs help with the mundane stuff, in order that you can get on with the serious things in live. .

8.. Learn Something New

If you love to learn this is so exciting. Why should the young be the only ones to learn? In the past year or so, I have taken up art. I love it, it is so relaxing.

9. Spend more time with the Family

This is where you have to think of quality time, and how you should spend it with your family. What can you and your family do together. Hold a little family council, and see what they like to do together.

10. Help Others

This can be an rewarding endeavor. It does necessarily mean doing things for the low income and the needy. It also can mean helping young kids learn a sport, or recreational activity, etc.

So, that is the Top Ten New Years Resolutions. Write them down and see how successful you are at keeping them. I hope that you have more success than I do.

Richard McDuff has been selling on the internet for 7 years. He has a blog at http://www.marketingonlinebusiness.info and you can find other more about the top ten New Years Resolutions visit http://www.squidoo.com/newyears

Google has become latest firm to offer ads based on people’s surfing habits.

A London broil is a great way to cook steak. Note that I said a “way to cook.” In other words, it’s a method, not a specific cut of meat. This distinction has confused many a novice cook.

Adding to the confusion, some butchers will call a cut of meat “London broil.” Usually, though, the cut of beef used for a London broil is flank steak, although other cuts, notably top round steak, may be substituted.

Flank steak is naturally tough, so you need to tenderize it (by pounding with a mallet) or marinate it, or both, before cooking with it. To turn it into a proper London broil, you … broil it. Makes sense, right? But not so fast … you can also grill it and still call it a London broil.

Here are two recipes, one for broiled London broil, and the other for grilled London broil.

London Broil (Broiled)

Ingredients

<>1 beef flank steak (1 to 2 pounds)

<>1/3 cup Italian salad dressing

<>2 tablespoons red wine or red wine vinegar

1 clove garlic, minced

2 tablespoons cooking oil

Directions

1. Combine salad dressing, wine or wine vinegar, garlic and cooking oil in a bowl to make a marinade.

2. Make several shallow cuts on both sides of the steak. Place the meat in a baking dish.

3. Brush the steak with the marinade; be sure to coat both sides. Cover pan with plastic wrap. Place in refrigerator and let marinate for 1 hour.

4. Remove from refrigerator. Pour off excess marinade.

5. Preheat oven broiler. Place pan with steak approximately 3 inches from top heat. Cook 5 to 8 minutes per side (to medium doneness).

6. Cut steak into slices and serve.

London Broil (Grilled)

Ingredients

3/4 cup cooking oil

3 tablespoons lemon juice

2 tablespoons red wine or red wine vinegar

2 tablespoons soy or Worcestershire sauce

1 clove garlic, minced

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon coarsely ground black pepper

1 tablespoon parsley flakes

1 flank steak (1 to 2 pounds)

Directions

1. Combine all ingredients except the meat in a bowl to make your marinade.

2. Make several shallow cuts on both sides of the steak and place in a baking dish. Try for a cross-hatching effect with several overlapping, diagonal cuts.

3. Brush steak with marinade, making sure to coat both sides. Cover pan with plastic wrap, place in refrigerator and let marinate for at least 1 hour.

4. Grill steak over hot charcoal or other high heat for 5 to 8 minutes per side, depending on the degree of doneness desired. Baste with leftover marinade if you wish.

5. Remove steak from grill, slice into thin strips, and serve.

Everyone loves to win an award but sometimes you want to be careful of what you wish for because you may just get it. Winning an award is always fun and it is nice to be recognized. Maybe you won employee of Authentic Fendi Handbags month at work or perhaps your civic work caused your community to recognize you with an outstanding citizen award. But not every award is one you want to put on your mantle and show off to your family and friends. There is a company in Upstate New York that has a bowling tournament every year. First place is a lovely golden bowling pin for the winner to proudly display. Last prize, and there is a last prize, is an old bowling shoe referred to as the Smelly Shoe Award. An old smelly bowling shoe is not what you want sitting on the mantle at home. Of course it is all in fun but some awards and recognitions can be a little critical and sometimes downright mean.

Mr. Blackwell was a well-known fashion critic who released two lists every year that were highly anticipated. The first was the best-dressed celebrity list and to make it on that list meant a whole new level of recognition from the media and possible opportunities in show business. The other list was the top ten worst dressed celebrities and that was a list that usually meant you would find a rather unattractive picture of yourself in a national tabloid magazine. So Mr. Blackwell’s worst dressed celebrity is definitely not an award you want to win. But that pales in comparison to what the movie industry has to offer.

Few industries have as many awards as the movie industry. Between the Academy Awards, the Golden Globes, and the People’s Choice Awards there are hundreds of award winners every year in Hollywood and that does not count things like the Kids Choice Movie Awards or the MTV Movie Awards either. But as good as Hollywood can be at patting itself on the back there are always Hollywood outsiders who are willing to let Hollywood know that not every movie is an award winner. The desire to keep Hollywood in its place has spawned some funny trophies and award shows and the top funny Hollywood award show of them all is the Razzies.

The Razzies is short for the Golden Raspberry Award and it is given every year for the worst actors and worst movies Hollywood put out for the previous year. The trophy is a large golden raspberry and, needless to say, very few Hollywood celebrities show up to the ceremony each year to collect their award. In recent years Hollywood has been continually accused of having no worthwhile movies coming out and that has caused an increase in the media exposure of the Razzies and its accompanying ceremony every year. Many Oscar winning movies are awarded Razzies and it looks like the Razzies will be around for a very long time.

While bundling up against the cold temperatures and snow, I look forward with great anticipation to spring and being able to shed by warm layers in favor of light and flowing warm weather fashions. As part of my defense against a harsh winter, I have compiled a list of trends that seem to be emerging for spring 2009.

Light, gauzy fabrics in layers have made their way down the runway in dresses and tops. Flowing dresses in floral patterns are being seen paired with ankle-strap stilettos. The color palette for these lovely, feminine dresses ranges from bright citrus to watercolors to neutrals and nudes.

Skinny pants are still in, with the 7/8 length cigarette pant appearing in a wide array of bright colors and are fun and sassy with sky-high platform shoes and a cropped jacket.

Harem pants are also making an appearance, but do not panic. These are far from “Hammer” or “Genie” pants. With a tailored styling, these pants are great paired with anything from a delicate chemise to a casual, rolled-sleeve blazer.

Jumpsuits are here in lightweight, draping fabrics and styles. Accessorized with belts and heavy jewelry, these easy-to-wear outfits are stylish in long leg as well as short styles.

Bohemian looks from the 1960’s and 1970’s are back in a glamorized way with bright colors and metallic accents; these are not your mother’s hippie clothes.

In shoes, shy-high platforms and ankle detailed shoes are the winners. Styles with ankle embellishments, from straps to ribbons are at the forefront of spring footwear. Also a hit are high heel cut-out booties. The traditionally winter style is great for spring with a peep toe and open design.

The most important thing to remember in fashion trends is to have fun with them. Choose the styles you like that flatter your body and leave the rest.

President Obama was sworn in and gave a memorable speech. He takes office at the time of economic crisis, and one of his first priorities will be the economy. CNN/Fortune had some interesting reporting on the TARP yesterday. The premise of the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) was that it was a plan to “reinforce the stability of the financial system, to increase confidence and capacity to lend, and in turn to support the recovery of the economy.” Offering loan guarantees to a broad array of banks is reportedly among the options being considered by incoming President Barack Obama as he seeks to restore economic growth. According to Joseph Mason, a finance professor at Louisiana State University, the problem with a loan guarantee plan is that it will not necessarily force the banks to fully recognize their losses on souring positions taken on during the credit boom that ended in the summer of 2007.

That point does not go far enough, though, because it’s not a matter of accounting, it’s a matter of accountability. It’s not a matter of how the banks keep their books, it’s a matter of holding the banks responsible for reinvesting the funds and utilizing the funds to fund consumer borrowing a small business financing. It’s about fulfilling the purpose of the bailout, not about keeping a nice set of records.

On Friday, Citigroup said it lost $8 billion for the fourth quarter and $19 billion for the year. Bank of America said it lost $1.8 billion for the fourth quarter and announced a plan under which the government will backstop $118 billion in troubled assets, about three-quarters of which are tied to the bank’s acquisition of Merrill Lynch.

Paul Miller, an analyst at FBR Capital Markets, wrote in November research report that the biggest U.S. banks — names like Citi, BofA, JPMorgan Chase and Goldman Sachs, to name a few — needed $1 trillion or more in new common equity to be well enough capitalized to handle surging loan losses.

On ABC’s “This Week” Sunday David Axelrod, senior adviser to Obama, said that Obama would emphasize that lenders need to keep funds flowing to keep an already sputtering economy from slowing even further. “I think he is going to have strong message for the bankers,” Axelrod said. “We don’t want them to sit on any money that they get from taxpayers.” The contrarian view was expressed by Ed Gainor, a structured finance lawyer at McKee Nelson in Washington, who said dictating that lenders must lend could be counterproductive. One reason lenders are conserving capital, he noted, is that the economy is slumping — which raises the odds that even good borrowers will default as they lose their jobs. “Demanding that they make loans is somewhat silly on a grand scale,” says Gainor. “If the lenders can lend and make a profit, that’s what they will do.” What got the lending industry in trouble was the fact that they weren’t providing value or service to borrowers, they were only interested making a profit on transactions with borrowers who were unqualified with collateral that was overvalued by an artificial economy.

This position completely ignores the purpose of the TARP. Does Gainor think that the bank’s pocketing the funds is going to help the economy? In response, Mason said the strong message the government needs to send is that existing losses must be recognized, and failing institutions allowed to fail.

Question: Why should the taxpayers be willing to bailout the banks unless they are obligated to not only lend it out, but pay it back to the government and the taxpayers?

The self interest of the banking industry without regard to the general economy should be evident. The point is that from the taxpayers’ point of view, there is no reason to bail out the banks if they are not obligated to pass it on to consumers, because one of the big reasons the economy is slumping is because of the restrictions on lending, consumer and small business borrowing. Just talk to the Retailers or Building Industry Associations. The taxpaying citizens are, after all, the ones who are ultimately paying for the bailout. It’s absurd under the present scenario that ordinary taxpayers are expected to pay for the bailout of financial institutions without the funds being passed on through.

Considering Gainor’s point of view, which sounds like “we’ll lend money if we feel like it,” the taxpayers would be better of if the banks kept their hands out of Congress’s and the taxpayers’ wallet. Now is not the time to start exercising overly strict and scrupulous lending practices, which should have been instituted long before the spiral dive began. Given the present lack of accountability, the TARP is nothing but the biggest charitable giveaway in history. If the banks are unwilling to pass the bailout on to the public who is paying for it in the first place, Congress should simply refuse to distribute any more funds, allow the banks fail, and let the forces of market capitalism take over. Without insisting on accountability in the utilization of the TARP funds, the plan is just simply another fraud on the American public. It’s Robin Hood in reverse, stealing from the common man to give to the rich.

If Congress fails to demand accountability and the Banks fail to fulfill the purpose of the TARP, another option that Obama might consider is placing the insolvent Banks in an involuntary Chapter 11 and appointing a Trustee, or “Banking Tzar”to ensure the funds are administered properly, rather than to keep throwing good money after bad. Yes, its a little far fetched. On the other hand bailing out the banks while letting everyone else wither away on the vine isn’t a very attractive option.

A Farm Equipment Cochranville Pa ago, I was skimming my old notebook, the one I used when I was in first year of my college life. I came across my notes entitled “finance seminar”. Oh, I remember. While my classmates were busy chatting with each other at our table that time, I was busy taking down notes about the seminar. I couldn’t blame them for not listening to the guest speaker because it Jeffre Scott Apothecary In Charlotte bored me. The speaker was just reading her notes and adding some sentences to explain what’s written on her notes.

Despite of the boredom she gave us, I still wrote the facts I’d learned from her speech. I thought our professor would give us Im A Barbie Girl long exam regarding the seminar but he didn’t. Good for us. The topic of our seminar made me interested anyway. What was the topic? It’s about being entrepreneur. I knew I could use these facts in the near future.

According to the speaker, entrepreneur Jillian Nutrisystem also known as innovator. Joseph Shumpeter is the one who introduced the Innovative Theory.

Characteristics of an Entrepreneur

We can not describe an entrepreneur in just a single word, so allow me to share you what really makes a good entrepreneur.

An entrepreneur is a person who takes risks, makes innovations or does new things, searches for change, accelerates the development of the economy, sees and evaluates Vera Bradley Promotional Code 2008 opportunities.

Risk Taker

If you are a person who doesn’t know how to take a risk, change your attitude. If you can’t, don’t try to be an entrepreneur then. You can not achieve success if you don’t take risks. How would you know if a particular strategy or Through Fire And Flames Guitar Tabs is good for your business if you don’t try using it? Yes, you may fail. Failure is usually lurking out Vera Bradley Discounts Employee but this should not hinder you from seizing risks. As what the axiom says, “No guts, no glory.”

Innovator

People say necessity is the mother of invention, but do you already know what the core of it is? Couldn’t guess the answer? It’s Lucite Handbags There enters an entrepreneur.

Entrepreneur should always make something new, fresh, not yet known by Melisajedan of the people, and of course useful. What’s the point of making a product if there’s already an existing one like the one you’re about to make? Is it because of sureness that Apothecary Symbols have customers for the reason that you can see that the product sells? Quite good reason but it’s not really great. It’s still better to make an original product. I know it can not satisfy man for his whole life (because man usually focuses on the things he doesn’t have) but for a while, it can also make him feel the satisfaction brought by your new product.

Change Searcher

A real entrepreneur has time to search for change and do something to develop a certain thing. You should not be stuck on the usual things. There’s always a room for development in whatever you do.

Accelerates Development of Economy

If you are a risk taker, change searcher, and you produce new quality products, there’s a large possibility that you can help the economy of your country. That’s actually a great characteristic of an entrepreneur. Because of that, most of the country leaders are grateful of having superb entrepreneurs in their country.

Your product with good quality can be exported. Thus, it brings more profit to your business and to your beloved country.

Ability to See and Evaluate Business Opportunities

There are so many business opportunities out there. It’s good for each entrepreneur. What you must just know is how to seek for the best business opportunity for you. Look for one that suits your creativity or style.

Then once you have seen a business opportunity, try evaluating it. In this process, you should be smart enough to know which opportunity is good for an entrepreneur like you and which one is too good to be true.

Do you have these characteristics? If you do, then you can now start a business and learn the other things that will make your business successful. Be an entrepreneur. Be your own boss.
