What to Bring
Equipment
The following equipment checklist contains some useful suggestions as
to what you should consider bringing with you on your walk. Each walker
is unique in their own hiking wants and needs, so use your best discretion
when deciding what to take with you. The best advice we can give is
to travel light.
Issues to Consider:
Will you have somebody transporting your luggage for you?
Will you be provided with packed lunches at a B&B?
Are you camping?
Will you be traveling to a town where you can stock up on supplies?

Specialised, waterproof hiking boots

Where to Buy Equipment:
As there are no specialist outdoor equipment shops along the Wicklow
Way, if you are buying hiking gear in Ireland your best bet is to take
